YOUR WORD

Your Word is a lamp to my feet

And a light to my path

It leads me on my journey

It is my rod and staff

Let Your Word consume every part of me

And burn like fire in my soul

Let it captivate all of my heart

And my trust in You alone

Let Your Word continually renew my mind

And be my bright and shining light

Let it be my protection

And dwell in me each day and night

Let Your Word be like a new song

And the joy within my heart

Let it be my rock and salvation

And my hope in You that we'll never be apart

Let Your Word speak of Your love and goodness

And may it ever be on my lips

Let it continually flow like a river

And give me opportunities to witness

Let Your Word shine in the darkness

And be the key to set the captives free

Release them from their pain

And give them power and victory

Let Your Word give us daily strength

And be our shield in times of need

Let it be our guide and always be by our side

And may we bear fruit and not just stay as a seed
