ABOUT ME

22 years ago, after a severe car accident, I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. Through the pain and dark times in my life, God has opened my eyes to the beautiful world of poetry. I have written over 50 poems in my lifetime and don't plan to stop there! 'Sweet Butterfly' is a poem that speaks to me a lot, which is why I wanted to name this blog after it. 

I am married to my French husband, Stéphane, with two wonderful kids, Sophie and Nathan and we currently live in Northern Ireland. Being a mum has been the greatest blessing. I enjoy walks down our lane with our Golden Retriever, Romeo, as well as travelling with family. 

I hope that this blog and my poems will encourage those who are hurting so that they can feel God's warmth and love through the words.
