Healer of my broken heart

When I go through deep grief and pain

I will trust in Jesus' name

When everything around me is dull and dark

He's the only One who can heal my broken heart

When I wake in fear in the middle of the night

I hear Him gently whisper

'Everything will be alright'

When I feel so weak and overwhelmed inside

He holds me close and never leaves my side

When I feel heavy burdened and don't know what to do

His light shines brighter and He helps me through

He gives me hope and renews my weary mind

With His words of comfort that are true and kind

He heals my inner hurt and pain

And gives me His strength to take the next step again

He gently lifts my head and takes my hand

Till all my fears are gone and His love is a healing balm

Each tear I shed won't be forgotten

He collects each one in a crystal bottle

One day they will be used for His glory

When He opens the Book of Life and reads my story

My faith in my Lord will be strong

Until all this pain inside is gone

In this time of deep suffering and sorrow

With His Presence I can face tomorrow
