Overcoming Fear

I faced FEAR because it was time

And declared it no longer had a place in my mind

Fear tried so long to take control

So I told it that it was time for it to...GO!!!

A fierce battle of fear had raged in my mind

It made me feel paralyzed and blind

The Enemy had given me fear for so long

And made me feel I didn't belong

So I told him loudly to RUN!!!

Cause God's victory has already been won

God's whisper was gentle and clear

'You are My Child, so do not fear'

For God did not give me a spirit of Fear

But a Spirit of POWER to overcome all fears

He gives me a Spirit of LOVE and a SOUND MIND

His love, grace and mercy is the best you'll find

With God's help I have overcome my fears

He delivered me and has restored those fearful years

God is always faithful and His Word helps me stand

Against Satan's lies, deception and plans

Prayer and Praise help me get through each day

With God's full armour I don't feel dismayed

My Faith in God and trust that He is in Control

Is the best healing for my mind and soul

You can overcome your fears too

I pray this poem will help you get your breakthrough

God's perfect LOVE casts out ALL our fears

He heals our minds and wipes away our tears
